Dr. Chip named Head Coach of Sherwood Varsity Lacrosse

Dr. Chip Steel was recently named the Head Coach of the Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse team at Sherwood High School.  Dr. Chip played lacrosse in High School and College and after graduation played club lacrosse and indoor lacrosse for a number of years.  He has been coaching locally for over 15 years at the youth level, middle school and high school.  Prior to being named head coach at Sherwood, Dr. Chip was a goalie and defensive coach at Sherwood for about 5 years and was briefly working with the Good Counsel lacrosse team before going back to Sherwood. Drs. Linda & Chip’s sons (Alex & Nick) played lacrosse at Sherwood.  Dr. Chip is looking forward to working with the Athletic Department, the parents and the players toward a great season and beyond.  Come out and support the Warriors during the spring season, which begins March 1st.  Check out the team website at : http://www.sherwoodlax.net
